Singurătatea nu e rea / Loneliness is not that bad

[below in English]

Thinking about myself as a child a few words would describe me: curiosity, distraction and friendliness. Hmmm, I'm probably still the same. The point is, I've talked about this before, and I won't go back through these issues, but I'm going somewhere near. Why? Today I want to tell you write about something that terrified Dana 10 years ago, and today she considers this a blessing.

For a long time I was afraid of what might happen to me if I stay alone at home. I've made some sort of scenarios with thieves, pipes that break or fire (I cannot escape if something happens) or even ghosts. I was afraid right after the death of my grandfather, fear which I find irrational now, that he will come and talk to me. Even though it would have been a possibility of that to happen, my grandfather would not have wanted to hurt me. Eh, it's not easy to convince a stubborn 11-year-old kid that there is no need to be frightened. You can try, but in my case it did not work. I think I was actually afraid of loneliness.

The years have passed and my fear was gone and it became a funny memory. Now I have reached the level in which I really love to spend time with myself. I feel good on my own and I no longer have the need to always be with someone. The "me" time is extremely precious.

Sometimes I listen to music and sing. Yes, it's an activity that I really cannot afford to do in public...for the wellbeing of my audience. Other times I write or read. Most of the time, however, I meditate on all sorts of crazy things, such as the meaning of life. It is not the existence that is useless, but the thought of it. Sometimes it's better to stop thinking and just live.

I am glad of what I have became and I like to spend time in my company. If other people do not know to appreciate me, it's just their problem. It's important to accept and to be happy with ourselves. That's all.
